Barry Hosford
Youth/Music Pastor

Barry was born and raised a Texan in the Dallas area (please don't hold that against him!), and is a pastor's kid. He gave his life to Christ at the age of seven and was baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 24.

From 1987 to 2001, he was the keyboardist, singer and songwriter for a regional Christian rock band called "ADVENT." The band recorded in the studio several times, cut four major recordings, and toured on the weekends around the state of Texas, into Oklahoma, and even to Mobile, AL.

In 1993, he became the chief musician at Abundant Life Assembly of God in Grand Prairie, TX, and there met his bride, Aimee, who was a student at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Soon after, he became the Worship Leader of the church. God led them to Faith Assembly of God in Arlington, TX, in 1997 as worship leaders of the church and Aimee took the role of choir director. For a season, Barry served as interim youth pastor there as well.

In the summer of 2002, they were called here to Valparaiso First Assembly of God to serve as Music Ministers and Youth Pastors. Aimee currently serves as Co-Pastor to Students and the Choir Director for the church. Barry currently serves as the Pastor to Students and Music Director/Worship Leader.
